My shop, Mags & Alta, is named after my two grandmothers—one gracious and kind (Mags) and the other fun and spunky (Alta). I strive to ensure all my handmade items reflect these wonderful traits.
As a serial creative, I can't stop creating! I love combining small bits of quilt tops, vintage fabrics, ribbons, and seasonal fabrics, along with hand embroidery, to craft unique items. Rescuing a vintage quilt top, lovingly created by another creative soul, and giving it a new, meaningful life is a passion of mine.
Among my favorite creations are hand-cut and embroidered Greek and Alphabet letters and numbers, which are truly one of a kind.
